Warranty Policy

Last Updated 01.09 2015

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and not amount to a major failure.

CUISINART GUARANTEES THEIR PRODUCTS FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY. NO WARRANTY IS PROVIDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE.

CUISINART AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND DOES NOT PROVIDE WARRANTY FOR CUISINART ITEMS BOUGHT FROM OVERSEAS RETAILERS OR FROM PARALLEL IMPORTERS

                    New Zealand 0800 435 000

Further advice will be provided by Cuisinart Customer Service
Option 3: Consumer can email Cuisinart Australia/NZ via the 'Contact Us' option on their website www.cuisinart.com.au or www.cuisinart.co.nz

Fault Within Warranty Period:

Consumer can use any of the above options. The same conditions apply.
Cuisinart offer a full product replacement policy if electrical componentry or motors fail within set warranty periods.
*Please note that entire units will NOT be replaced if only a certain part is damaged or faulty.
These faults in most instances can be identified over the phone by the Cuisinart Consumer Service representative.
If a spare part is required, under warranty, it will be shipped to the consumer or retailer at NO CHARGE.
Cuisinart offer a comprehensive Spare Part listing for the majority of products. Please refer to wesbite for spare part listings.
*All parties should ensure that a proof of purchase is shown or proven. The Product Registration facility on the Cuisinart Australia/NZ website does not negate the need to retain your proof of purchase. If a proof of purchase is not forthcoming, the manufacturing date code on the base of each appliance will become the starting date of the warranty period. Cuisinart Customer Service can assist in determining this date.

Fault Outside of Warranty Period:

Please note: Cuisinart Australia/NZ do not carry internal componentry for any of their products ie; motors, circuit boards etc. If they were to fail outside of the generous warranty periods, the consumer will be required to purchase a new product.
Older Models: Cuisinart Australia/NZ can not supply spare parts for older models that have either been discontinued or that are not available for sale currently in their respective markets. In some instances, consumers may be referred to the USA to purchase spare parts that are no longer available in Australia or New Zealand. Cuisinart Customer Service will confirm and advise in such instances.
Spare Parts required by the consumer outside of any Warranty period must be prepaid for by credit card, direct deposit or cheque prior to the goods being shipped. Spare Parts required by the retailer will be charged to their normal accounts.
